This time relating to the latest Belgium Grand Prix, a hot lap around Spa with Paul Di Resta in his Force India. Spa is a track with renown history, with bone crunching crashes to the legendary skills involved with overtaking on Eau Rouge.

Getting the perfect setup is crucial because if you put too much downforce on your car – prepare to be passed easily on the long straights available on this track. Don’t put enough downforce on – prepare to be passed in all the corners. You need to be smart and make the right decision every time.

Now some have compared the latest footage to previous edition (F1 2012) – yes it is notably alike (cranes etc – yes cranes!) But let’s be honest what exactly changes at races apart from banners and minor placement of barriers? Cranes have to be in the same place as that is where the FIA believes is the best place for them to get access to stricken cars.

But looking at the quality of smoothness it’s looking set to be another good addition to the F1 series. Can Codies impress this year? It’s certainly looking like an impressive game so far.

F1 2013 will be available on the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 starting October 4th in Europe and October 8th in the US.
